Silicone heating Pads from HKE-Tec can be made to measure in small quantities.
The heaters must not be cut, bent or drilled afterwards.
For special shapes, holes and cutouts please send your 2D drawing or sketch during the request.

From > 0.45 w/cm ² power Density we recommend a protection by a temperature limiter.
From > 0.65 w/cm ² a temperature control should be used.

We recommend a maximum surface load of 0, 8W/cm ².
Depending on the application, the load can be 2 W/cm ² and more.
However, in which applications this is possible can only be found out through trials. We do not assume any warranty for overheated heating mats with a surface load exceeding 1.3W/cm².

The total wattage of the heater depends on the following factors:

  • Ambient temperature
  • Thermal conductivity of the material to be heated
  • Insulation of the heating element and the heated material
  • Heat loss
  • Thermal conductivity of the carrier material
  • Throughput of the medium to be heated

The maximum temperature with adhesive surface is 180 °c, without adhesive surface 200 °C continuous operation possible (230 °C in the short term).

Please note that the production of heating mats is based on physical limits, not all combinations of voltage and power are producible .
