Drum heating sleeve up to 120°C

Our silicone drum heating sleeve / tank heater is the ideal solution for heating products in steel drums / tanks. It reduces the viscosity of materials such as oils, waxes, soaps, greases, food products, paints, and non-temperature-sensitive chemicals, allowing them to be easily pumped or poured. To achieve shorter warm-up times or higher temperatures, up to three modules can be used simultaneously.

These barrel heaters are available in different power ratings. While the higher-power model enables rapid and uniform heating for time-sensitive applications, the lower-power model is designed for controlled temperature maintenance and gentle heating. Both models ensure uniform heat distribution and minimize the risk of hot spots.

For applications with increased temperature control requirements, the barrel heaters can be optionally equipped with a digital thermostat. This enables precise control and reliable monitoring of the heating process for consistent and controlled heat distribution. Depending on the model, temperature ranges from 0–120 °C are available; the 2000-W version comes standard with a digital thermostat for 0–150 °C.

Heat transfer in the barrel heating sleeve is achieved through precisely positioned, PFA-coated heating wires that run across the entire length of the heater. This ensures even heat distribution across the entire surface of the application. The protective coating prevents the conductor wear that occurs with lower-cost alternatives, thereby helping to maintain electrical insulation and safe operation throughout the heating element’s service life.

The heating element is secured using a simple mounting system consisting of hooks and springs, which allows for quick and reliable installation.

Insulated drum heater up to 90°C

The insulated silicone heating jacket ensures efficient and even heating of steel or plastic drums. It is made of fire-resistant materials, prevents heat loss, and fits various drum sizes thanks to adjustable straps. When used with a capillary or digital thermostat, it allows for precise temperature control, ensuring safe and reliable heating.

It is available as standard for 25-, 50-, 105-, and 200-liter drums. Our drum heating elements with insulating jackets are particularly suitable for heating soaps, fats, paints, and oil-based products. You can choose between temperature control ranges of 0° to 40°C or 0° to 90°C.

In addition, a silicone-free version Available with a PTFE-coated outer material for 200-liter drums. This Teflon version is food-safe, highly resistant to chemicals and acids, as well as non-stick and water-resistant. It is ideal for demanding applications, such as those involving waxes, soaps, or media with a high water content, and its optimal fit ensures very even heat distribution up to temperatures of 90 °C. (Available with a capillary or digital thermostat)

Occupational safety

All silicone drum heaters are manufactured to comply with the EU Low Voltage Directive and the EU EMC Directive and are marked with the CE mark accordingly. In addition, for safety reasons, it is recommended to disconnect the power supply from the drum heater when the drum is empty or being filled, or during the installation or removal of the heater itself.

It is recommended that the unit be operated in a dry environment and with a vented drum to prevent pressure from building up inside the drum.

Insulated drum heater up to 220°C

The insulated silicone heating jacket, rated up to 220°C, is the high-temperature version of the drum heaters and is suitable exclusively for steel drums.

It is available as standard for 25-, 50-, 105-, and 200-liter drums. It was specifically designed for melting or reducing the viscosity of products that require intense heating or high temperatures during processing.

The heating jacket also features adjustable straps and buckles, allowing for easy adjustment and attachment to barrels of various sizes.

To ensure accurate and reliable temperature control, the heating jacket comes with either a capillary or a digital thermostat that can be adjusted to the desired setting. The capillary thermostat uses a liquid-filled sensor to measure the temperature and switch the heater on or off accordingly. The digital thermostat uses a PT100 sensor that transmits the data to the digital thermostat. This thermostat features a digital display and buttons to set and monitor the temperature with high precision.

The drum heater is ideal for situations where rapid heating to high temperatures is required. A standard range for drums from 25 L to 200 L is available within a few days. Custom drum heating jackets can be manufactured to fit the diameter and height of the container in your application.

IBC Container Heater up to 90°C

The container heating jacket is an insulated jacket designed to heat so-called bottle-in-a-cage containers (IBC containers). It completely encloses all four sides of the container and heats them evenly.

It is used in a wide range of industries, from pharmaceuticals to chemicals, and from cosmetics to food. Thanks to their efficient heating system, HIBC/B heating mats are ideal for reducing the viscosity of a wide variety of products, including fats, oils, and foodstuffs, making it easier to transfer the product into smaller containers or onto processing lines.

The heating system has two separate heating circuits—one for the upper section and one for the lower section. This allows even a partially filled container to be heated efficiently, for example, by using only the lower heating circuit.

For additional thermal insulation and to reduce the heating time, the unheated insulated lid can be used as an option.

The thermostats—either capillary or digital—can be set from 0 to 40 °C or from 0 to 90 °C.

If you want to keep heated materials at a constant temperature, the insulated jacket for drums and IBC containers is an excellent solution. This specially designed insulated jacket fits over your drum or container and helps prevent or significantly reduce heat loss. It is made of high-quality, fire-resistant materials and provides excellent thermal insulation as well as reliable protection.

In addition, the drum insulation jacket protects your drum or container from environmental factors that can affect the temperature, such as wind chill, frost, or sub-freezing temperatures. It can be used after heating the materials with our drum heating sleeve or our heating jacket. Both products ensure fast and efficient heating, while the barrel insulation jacket then helps to keep the temperature as constant as possible.
