Battery heaters
HKE-tec battery heaters provide an effective solution for restoring battery performance in cold conditions.
When batteries are exposed to lower temperatures, the temperature of the battery itself can drop, which can cause the chemical reaction to occur more slowly and produce a lower current than at room temperature.
At temperatures below -20°C, the reactions can be so slow and produce so little power that the battery can appear dead when in fact it is not.
Heating these batteries increases both life and efficiency, while improving the rate of charge at extreme temperatures.
The uniform heating of the elements ensures that the entire surface of the battery is heated effectively.
By eliminating temperature variations across the surface, these heaters improve the efficiency of chemical reactions and thus battery performance.
